Five encounters with poet João Cabral de Melo Neto between the two cities that invented him.
A documentary on the life and work of João Cabral de Melo Neto — Brazilian poet and diplomat, member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters, awarded the Camões Prize, the Neustadt International Prize for Literature and the Queen Sofía Ibero-American Poetry Prize.
The film gathers five conversations recorded in 1999, in which the writer speaks about literature, football, music, bullfighting and flamenco — his great passion. Recife and Seville, two very different cities, cross paths in the poet's experience.
