Marcelo Rodrigues
Editor and writer. For more than two decades he has worked in the cutting room, shaping documentaries, series and reality shows that crossed Brazilian television and festivals worldwide.
From the poetry of João Cabral de Melo Neto between Recife and Seville to the pulse of Rio's samba drum sections, from the source of the Paraíba do Sul to the Fox Fashion catwalks, his filmography travels Brazil like someone searching for the right rhythm of each story.
His films have screened and won awards at É Tudo Verdade, IDFA Amsterdam, Gramado, Festival do Rio, the Tiburon International Film Festival and the Green Film Festival. Series he edited have been nominated for the International EMMY.
